Hanwhalife Insurance Training Center II
Information
The Hanwhalife Insurance Training Center II is a masterpiece designed by the renowned French architect Dominique Perrault, a leading figure in contemporary architecture. Construction began on October 6, 2016, and was completed at the end of 2018.
The complex consists of educational and accommodation buildings, along with outdoor facilities such as parking areas, a natural grass football field, walking trails, and rest areas. Notably, the three circular buildings are carefully positioned along the natural slope of the valley, creating a composition of varying levels and forms. This distinctive layout made it one of the most technically demanding construction projects.
The architect’s concept focused on creating a tranquil yet powerful geometry without corners, achieved through eccentrically arranged circular structures that harmonize and share functional connections. The mirror-finished exterior and transparent glass façades reflect the surrounding landscape, blending the architecture seamlessly into its natural environment. The BAUM CM team made every effort to honor and realize the architect’s intent throughout the entire process.
The education building features a 300-seat conference hall equipped with advanced systems, along with lecture rooms, meeting spaces, team learning rooms, a cafeteria, and a dining hall. The accommodation building provides hotel-grade living quarters for approximately 400 guests, and includes amenities such as table tennis and badminton courts, a fitness center, sauna, library, and lounges. A rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the entire complex, serving as a relaxing communal space.
