Korea University Anam Hospital, recognized as Korea’s leading research-oriented and JCI-accredited hospital, has pursued the establishment of an Advanced Convergence Medical Center to evolve into a future-oriented medical institution. The new center aims to provide high-level, patient-centered care for complex and critical conditions through advanced, multidisciplinary research, infrastructure innovation, and cutting-edge medical environments.
The Medi-Complex was completed in 2022 through two construction phases, comprising 11 above-ground floors and 6 basement levels. The first phase included the development of specialized centers such as the Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Center, and Neuroscience Center, along with supporting facilities, while the second phase focused on expanding and remodeling inpatient wards and central treatment units, as well as developing the central plaza and parking areas.
