Information
The Coupang Incheon BRF Fulfillment Center Renovation Project was carried out under the principle of non-stop and high-safety construction during operation. Through complete reorganization of logistics circulation and reinforcement of MEP and fire compartment systems, the facility achieved stable throughput even during peak operation hours. The project also improved evacuation and safety routes, realizing a remodeling that enhanced both operational efficiency and safety.
As the Construction Manager (CM), BAUM CM implemented a comprehensive management framework across schedule, cost, quality, and safety, supported by a gate review process. By coordinating interfaces among the operations team, contractors, designers, and automation/IT partners, and sequencing work by zone and night shifts, operational disruptions were minimized. The team proactively managed risks through renovation reporting, authority coordination, VE and cost impact analysis, and successfully completed commissioning and O&M handover.
Over the past five years, BAUM CM has executed more than 70 Coupang projects, establishing a standardized collaboration protocol and data-driven decision-making system with Coupang. This strong partnership enables rapid and precise reflection of operational requirements, ensuring consistent delivery of high-performance logistics facilities.
